Assignment Highlights
About the Unit
The PCU cares for high-acuity cardiac and stroke patients. Nurses should be comfortable managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, and Cardizem. Floating to other PCUs may be required.
Requirements
Previous travel nursing experience is required. Strong cardiac, PCU/stepdown, and drip-titration skills are essential. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. Epic experience is preferred. Flu vaccination is required; medical or religious exemptions are subject to facility policy. Floating to other PCUs may be required. Include all requested time off with submission. The facility will not accept requested time off spanning all holidays. Confirm the Texas RN license requirement and current license status before submission.
