The Building Decarbonization Coalition is seeking a California Government Affairs Associate Director to advance policies that accelerate efficient, all-electric buildings. In this mission-driven role, you will monitor legislation and regulations, develop policy positions, and shape advocacy strategies that support climate impact and equitable communities. You will build strong relationships with state policymakers, agencies, utilities, coalition members, industry partners, and advocates. The role also includes preparing policy analyses, briefings, and testimony; coordinating cross-functional teams; and representing the coalition in policy forums. Join a collaborative organization working across sectors to transform how buildings are powered and create healthier communities. Relevant experience in California government affairs, public policy, advocacy, or clean energy is expected.
